|---|---|
| Full name | To identify your record |
| Registered email address or phone number | To match your account |
| Which service it concerns | To locate the correct records (website, omni-panel, WhatsApp, manufacturing order) |
| What you are requesting | Whether all data should be deleted or only a specific record |
Where we cannot verify your identity we may request additional information in order to protect your data. This is to prevent your account from being deleted by unauthorised persons.
Deleting your WhatsApp data
You may request deletion of the correspondence we hold from our WhatsApp Business line. You can send the request directly as a message to our WhatsApp line or through the channels listed above.
Upon your request, the message records associated with your number are deleted from our systems and your number is removed from our contact list.
If you only wish to stop receiving commercial messages, replying with DUR to our line is sufficient. That does not delete the message records; if you also want the records deleted, please state this separately.
Process and timing
You are informed in writing once deletion is complete. Copies in backup systems may persist for a short further period by the nature of the backup cycle; during that period the data is retained solely for disaster recovery purposes and is closed to active use.
| Stage | Timing |
|---|---|
| Acknowledgement of your request | Within 3 business days |
| Identity verification (if required) | Following your request |
| Completion of deletion | Within 30 days at the latest |
| Full removal from backups | Up to a further 90 days |
Data that cannot be deleted
Upon your request your data is deleted; however, records subject to a statutory retention obligation must be kept until the end of the prescribed period. Such records are retained solely to meet the legal obligation during that period and are not used for any other purpose.
| Record type | Retention period | Basis |
|---|---|---|
| Invoices and financial documents | 5 years | Tax Procedure Law, Art. 253 et seq. |
| Commercial book records | 10 years | Turkish Commercial Code, Art. 82 |
| Contracts and annexes | 10 years from termination | Turkish Code of Obligations, Art. 146 |
| Records subject to an ongoing dispute | Until the dispute is finally resolved | Establishment and protection of a right |
Records whose retention period has expired are deleted, destroyed or anonymised in the first periodic destruction cycle.
If your request is refused
If your request is refused, if you find our response insufficient, or if no response is given within the time limit, you may file a complaint with the Personal Data Protection Board within thirty days of learning of the response and in any event within sixty days of the date of application.
We always state our grounds for refusal in writing, together with their legal basis.
